Alright, this is the long awaited page for my, almost perfect, gorgeous car. We bought it from one of those little, "hole in the wall" dealers in the middle of nowhere and we were essentially ripped off, but I still love my car. There were two cars we were choosing from and while I wanted the other one, it had a lot of rust issues we didn't want to deal with. We bought the car and knew we were going to have to replace a few things, but hoped that it anything major would wait till I graduated. Yes well in the heat of the summer (the part of it where I was still in school) it stopped working. I had just gotten new Flow Master mufflers put on it and we think the guy that installed them may have wound it up a little to much when he was showing them off, cause it was then that it stopped working. So I made it into a little Weinerschnitzel and they let me call home. I was of course crushed and heart broken, but staying calm. That was the day my prized possession went into the process of my dad and I over hauling the engine. For those of you who don't know what on earth I'm talking about, you can just look at the pretty pictures, but for those of you who do, there are also some pictures of the entire process we went through... the following links are my firebird and his1 story.
1/9/05 Well just before the start of a new semester... Today my dad and I finished overhauling the carburetor, fixing the driver's side widow and latch, replaced the dimmer switch, and drove it around the block for testing purposes. Everything seemed to run fine, but now that I have secondaries, I will have to work harder in order to pay for the gas. [Insert your sympathy for me here] ::sarcasm::
I don't promise pictures though, because when you are working on a car, you tend to forget about the camera, but I do have a few
